Refund and Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to subscriptions and payments for the Conversational Backlinks service on https://forumbacklinks.org, operated by codemarket OÜ. By subscribing, you agree to this policy together with our Terms of Service.

1. Nature of the Service

Conversational Backlinks provides a managed digital SEO service: human-written contextual link placements in forum and Q&A discussions according to your project settings. Work begins after you subscribe and complete project setup. Payments are processed securely via Stripe.

2. Subscriptions and Billing

• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
• Subscriptions can be managed from your dashboard or by contacting [email protected].
• If you cancel, access continues until the end of the current paid billing period unless otherwise stated at checkout.
• Prices and included placement quotas are shown on the Website before payment.

3. Trial Period

Eligible new customers may start with a paid trial (for example, a 7-day trial with a defined number of guaranteed placements). Trial terms, price, and deliverables are displayed at checkout. If you cancel before the trial converts to a recurring plan, future recurring charges should not apply; any trial fee already paid is handled under Sections 4 and 5 below.

4. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with the Service, you may request a refund within 30 days of your first paid subscription charge (excluding any trial fee already consumed for delivered placements, as described in Section 5). Any approved refund under this guarantee is limited to unplaced, unverified backlinks and calculated per link as set out in Section 5.3. This guarantee applies to your first subscription purchase for a given account unless we state otherwise in writing.

To request a refund under this guarantee, email [email protected] with the subject line "Refund Request — [your account email]" and include your account email, billing date, and reason for the request. We review requests within 3–5 business days.

5. Refundable and Non-Refundable Amounts

5.1 Generally refundable

• Duplicate or erroneous charges caused by a technical billing error.
• First subscription payment within the 30-day money-back guarantee period, if the Service has not substantially delivered the purchased placement quota for that period.
• Charges after a verified cancellation that should not have occurred.

5.2 Generally non-refundable

• Amounts attributable to backlinks that have already been placed and verified by us. Once a placement is live and confirmed in your dashboard, that portion of your payment is not refundable.
• Placements already delivered, scheduled, or in progress where our team has performed manual work on your project.
• Recurring subscription charges after the 30-day money-back guarantee window, except where required by mandatory consumer law.
• Partial refunds for unused days in an already-paid billing period after cancellation (no pro-rata refund unless required by law).
• Accounts terminated for breach of our Terms of Service or fraud.
• Change-of-mind requests after substantial Service delivery.

5.3 Partial refunds for unplaced links only

If you are eligible for a refund under this policy or applicable law, we do not refund the full payment when some placements have already been placed and verified. We refund only the portion that corresponds to remaining, unplaced backlinks in your current plan period.

That amount is calculated on a per-link basis: we divide the price you paid for the applicable plan or billing period by the number of included placements in that plan, then multiply by the number of placements not yet placed and verified at the time of your request. Any trial fee, starter package, or one-time purchase is recalculated the same way against its included placement quota.

We will confirm in writing the number of placed, verified, and remaining placements before processing an approved partial refund.

6. How to Cancel

2. Cancel your subscription through the billing options available in your account, or
3. Email [email protected] from your account email with the subject line "Cancel Subscription".

Cancellation stops future renewals. It does not automatically refund past charges unless eligible under this policy or applicable law.

7. Refund Method and Timing

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through Stripe. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take 5–10 business days for the refund to appear. We will email you when a refund is processed.

8. EU Consumer Rights

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may have statutory withdrawal rights for distance contracts. Because the Service consists of digital services that begin after checkout and project setup, your right of withdrawal may be limited once performance has started with your prior express consent, as permitted under applicable law.
